Take 10 for Blood Pressure
26 May 2008

If you want to lower your blood pressure, but don't want to walk for 40 minutes, Indiana University researchers have some good news for you.

People in their study took four 10-minute walks over a period of several hours. They reduced their blood pressure for 10 to 11 hours, about three times longer than those who walked nonstop for 40 minutes.

A University of Connecticut study shows that those doing a 15-minute exercise reduced their blood pressure almost as much as those doing 30 minutes.
